Ridespotr

Photography & Videography

For the launch of Ridespotr, a global car-spotting app designed for an international audience, I produced launch visuals that focused on authenticity, movement, and real-world automotive culture. Filming took place at Lorbek Luxury Cars in Melbourne, capturing the vehicles in their natural setting before following them through the city. From Melbourne CBD to South Yarra, I filmed the cars in motion within live traffic and urban environments, allowing the city to become part of the story. The approach prioritised natural light, pace, and context, positioning the app as something built around genuine, everyday spotting moments rather than staged automotive imagery.

The launch event on Domain Road was documented with a focus on atmosphere, scale, and public interaction. Alongside the cars, I captured guests and passers-by engaging with the vehicles, photographing McLarens, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris as they arrived and lined the street. The coverage prioritised candid moments, crowd behaviour, and the natural build-up of attention around the event. This approach highlighted the social side of car spotting and reinforced Ridespotr’s purpose as a platform built around real, shared automotive experiences in public spaces.
